Enterprise Architect – Data Scientist

We are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect – Data Scientist for a prestigious multinational IT to work for public institutions in the HQ’s in Brussels (Belgium).
Description of the tasks
The data scientist will work within Information System Section. The data scientist will:
• Conduct regular data mining using social and online media, and other data sources (Detect disinformation patterns and trends using relevant data analysis tools)
• Support processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis and creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance;
• Prepare data analyses reports and visualizations, including the ones received through the Rapid Alert System
• Implement a more data-driven approach to communication
• Support exchange of best practices on the detection, analysis and countering of disinformation;
• Prepare enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Advise ICT Division on the development of state-of-the-art data analytics and digital communications approaches Knowledge and skills
• Working experience in data análisis, including skills in data-driven communications
• Knowledge on creating media analytical scripts and databases
• Proven experience in social media platforms
• English and/or French is required
