Business and Requirement Analyst

We are currently seeking a Business and Requirements Analyst for a prestigious multinational IT to work for public institutions in the HQ’s in Brussels (Belgium).

Description of the tasks:

The main targets of the Operations Technical Team will allow the IT Division to manage the transition to production of built information systems, to maintain deployed information systems (manage Prodbugs and their correction), to support end-users’ communities and to deliver business intelligence services to EEAS organization and will therefore focus :

• To manage the transition of built information systems to production environments, respecting severe quality controls and documenting information systems’ deployment and evolutions (release notes) towards EEAS stakeholders
• To maintain deployed information systems, analyse incidents reported, correct Prodbugs within EEAS application code and update technical documentation
• To improve development technical team quality level by delivering diligent analysis about quality issues discovered in operations
• To prepare user materials and deliver training courses on information systems deployed, write User Manuals and Information Systems on-line help, assist in building e-learning storyboards
• To improve EEAS End-user support processes by decreasing the gap between IT and end-users’ communities and by enforcing the “collaborative support model” approach

Knowledge and skills

• Analysis of user requirements and modelling of new information systems including prototyping and testing
• Data analysis, data modelling using relational databases (Oracle, MySql)
• Follow-up of the developments and testing achieved
• Technical Interface between the project leader, the application architects, the testers and the developers
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users, including those happening outside of EEAS services at Headquarters or in EU Delegations
• Assist in estimate workloads, define plans, tasks and artefacts of projects, manage their regular follow-up, identify risks and guarantee successful results by performing daily follow up of the developments and testing
• Assistance in the technical and testing documentation, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
